Physical Change (reversible)

 

1. Download each of these images

2. Press and hold the “control” key while clicking on the image.

3. Click “Save Image As…”

4. Open Pixie

5. Open a Finder window

6. Click and drag the “Glass of water” picture to the Pixie workspace.

7. Experiment with moving and resizing the image.

8. Use the Paint tools to draw an arrow next to the glass of water.

9. Drag the “ice” picture next to the arrow.

10. Draw another arrow pointing from the ice to another glass of water image.

11. Add the title “Physical Change”

Chemical Change (irreversible)

6. Click and drag the “raw egg” picture to the Pixie workspace.

7. Experiment with moving and resizing the image.

8. Use the Paint tools to draw an arrow next to the raw egg.

9. Drag the “fried egg” picture next to the arrow.

10. Draw another arrow pointing from the fried egg to another fried egg image.

11. Add the title “Chemical Change”
